  • 1 chocolate chip cake mix
  • 1 chocolate instant pudding mix (prepare according to box)
  • 1 lg. container Cold Whip
  • 2-3 T Amaretto
  • 2 Heath candy bars (opt.)
  • Hershey's chocolate syrup

Directions

  1. Prepare cake according to package directions, but bake in a 10" spring form pan (2 - 9" pans can be used). Bake in 350 degree oven for 40 to 45 min, testing to see when baked. Cool and release from pan. When cake is thoroughly cool, split in half. Sprinkle bottom layer with Amaretto and put all of chocolate pudding on middle layer. Place about 1/3 of the Cool Whip on top of pudding. Put top layer on, cut side up. Sprinkle with Amaretto. Cover with remaining Cool Whip. Drizzle with Hershey's chocolate syrup. As the optional, candy bars can be shaved and placed on top of Cool Whip on both layers. If you use 9" pans, you don't split layers. Use the flat side of the cakes for filling and Cool Whip.
