Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325. Sift flour with baking pwdr & salt. Add in dates, nuts & lemon peel. Toss well. Beat egg yolks with 1/2 c. sugar till very thick & light. Mix in flour mix. Beat egg whites & add in remaining sugar. Fold flour mix into egg whites till combined. Bake 50 min in 8x8-inch pan. Serve with whipped cream.
