  • 1 c. (sm. pkg.) dates, cut fine
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 egg
  • Healthy pinch of salt (optional)


  1. Cook in double boiler till thick - about 30 min. Cold and add in 1/2 c. finely minced nuts and 2 c. Rice Krispies. Cold to handle. Form into small balls and roll in flaked coconut or possibly crushed Rice Krispies.
