Date Filled Ice Box Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Cream together sugar and Crisco. Add in Large eggs and beat. Sift flour, soda and salt. Combine all ingredients. Mold into rolls and chill. Slice, put a tsp. of filling and cover with second slice. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 min.
