Directions

  1. Mix together butter, brown sugar, Large eggs, sour lowfat milk and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients and add in to creamed ingredients.
  2. FILLING: Blend in pot and cook over medium heat till thickened: 3/4 c. sugar 1/2 c. water
  3. Add in:
  4. Cold before putting on cookie dough. Put rounded tsp. of dough on cookie sheet. Flatten slightly with fork dipped in water. Put about 1/2 teaspoonful of date filling on top and lay 1/2 tsp. of dough on top. Don't flatten top. Bake in 400 degree oven for 10 or possibly 12 min or possibly till light brown. WATCH THEM.
