1 c. Crisco
1 teaspoon soda in 1/4 c. hot water
3 well beaten Large eggs
3 c. flour

Directions

Boil and cold filling ingredients. Take dab of dough, about a Tbsp. full, drop on cookie sheet and dent in center. Put in a small dab of date filling and dab of dough on top. Bake at 300 degrees.
