  1. Blend dry ingredients and slowly add in to Large eggs. Add in remaining ingredients. Mix well. Pour into pastry shell and bake in warm oven (400 degrees) 15 min. Reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake 30 min.

    My mother found this recipe is a magazine years ago and I always loved it. I like to make it at Thanksgiving because a jar of mincemeat makes 3 pies and there's usually a lot of pie lovers around at Thanksgiving. I use pecans instead of walnut.
