Ingredients
- 2 c. Flour
- 2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 c. Cocoa pwdr
- 1/2 c. Butter
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 4 x Large eggs
- 1 c. Lowfat milk
- 1 1/2 c. Fresh bread crumbs Chocolate or possibly fudge sauce
Directions
- Grease 1 1/2-quart. mold or possibly baking dish. Sift flour, baking pwdr, salt, and cocoa.. In large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar; add in Large eggs, one at a time, alternately with half the flour mix. Beat well after each addition. Add in lowfat milk alternately with remaining flour. Stir in bread crumbs.
- Pour into greased mold; cover with foil; tie. Place rack in slow-cooking pot. Add in 2 c. warm water. Place mold with cake mix on rack in pot.
- Cook, covered, on high for 3 to 4 hrs. Serve hot or possibly cool. To serve, slice cake and spoon chocolate or possibly fudge topping over; top with whipped cream, if you like.
