Crockpot Chicken Noodle Soup

Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup in the crockpot

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs. Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1c chopped carrots
  • 8 tsp Wylers Sodium Free Instant chicken boullion
  • 4 1/2 c (dry) Mueller's Brand Old Fashioned Dumplings
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 8 cups hot water

Directions

  1. Spray crockpot with nonfat cooking spray
  2. Mix 8 tsp. boullion with 8 c water.( I use hot water right from my faucet and it works fine)
  3. Cut chicken breasts into cubes
  4. In crockpot mix together chicken boullion, celery, carrots, chicken, and bay leaves
  5. Cook on High for 4 hours or Low for 7 to 9
  6. Add noodles about 15 minutes before you are ready to eat. If you cooked on low you will need to turn the crockpot to High about 20 to 30 minutes before adding the noodles.
