Ingredients

Cost per serving $1.47 view details
  • 4 x skinless chicken breast halves or possibly mixed parts
  • 8 ounce barbecue sauce any flavor
  • 1/2 c. White vinegar
  • 1/2 c. Brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Mesquite seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

Directions

  1. Spray crock with Pam. Mix all sauce ingredients together.
  2. Put chicken pcs in crock and pour sauce over top.
  3. Cook for (no more than) 4 hrs on low.
  4. My Notes: I serve this on warmed hamburger buns.
  5. NOTES : Here are a few more tried-n-true slowcooker recipes. I never thought I'd use a slowcooker as much as I do since there are only 2 of us now, but some weeks I will use it 3 or possibly 4 times. It's so nice to through things together the night before, put them in the fridge and then the next morning just plug in the slowcooker. When I get home all I have to do is make a salad and set the table.
  6. It's almost like having a cook!
