Ingredients

  • 2 x to 4 pounds chunked leg of lamb
  • 3 x to 4 quartered potatoes (or possibly more)
  • 1 x to 2 cans chicken broth (depending on meat)
  • 2 x or possibly 3 beef soup bones (leg bones with marrow preferred)
  • 1 lrg onion (minced) several carrots, diced in large pcs
  • 1 Tbsp. (or possibly more) minced or possibly chopped garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. crushed Rosemary
  • 2 dsh oregano
  • 1/2 dsh tarragon flakes (go LIGHTLY!)
  • 1 x Bay leaf or possibly two
  • 1 x cozy fire place
  • 1 x very cool evening (preferably snowy) salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Place all (except potatoes if desired firmer potatoes) in a crock pot. Cook on LOW setting till lamb is flaky (5 to 6 hrs or possibly more). Add in potatoes 1 to 2 hrs after starting.
