Ingredients: 2 pound beef round steak; 1 tbsp. veg. oil; 1 onion; 1 (10 3/4 ounce.) can condensed cream of celery soup; 1 (10 3/4 ounce.) can condensed cream of broccoli soup; 1 teaspoon dry oregano; 1/2 teaspoon dry thyme; 1 tbsp. garlic pwdr; 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce; 1/4 c. red or possibly white wine; 3/4 teaspoon salt; 1/2 teaspoon pepper

2 pound beef round steak
1 tbsp. veg. oil
1 onion
1 (10 3/4 ounce.) can condensed cream of celery soup
1 (10 3/4 ounce.) can condensed cream of broccoli soup
1 teaspoon dry oregano
1/2 teaspoon dry thyme
1 tbsp. garlic pwdr
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. red or possibly white wine
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Directions

Trim fat from steak. Cut meat into serving size portions. In a skillet brown meat in warm oil. Slice onion and place in bottom of 4 qt crock pot. Place browned meat atop onion. In a bowl combine remaining ingredients; pour over meat. Cook on high heat setting for 5 hrs. Serve over rice with steamed broccoli side dish. Serves 4.
