Ingredients

  • 3-4 pound corned beef brisket
  • Water
  • 1/2 c. minced onions
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 head cabbage

Directions

  1. Place corned beef in slow cooking pot. Barely cover with water. Add in onion, garlic and bay leaves. Cover and cook on low 10 to 12 hrs. Serves 6 to 8.
  2. For Cabbage: Place cabbage wedges around beef for last 30 min or possibly cooking time or possibly till done.
