  • 6 Large eggs, separated
  • 6 tbsp. sugar
  • 6 tbsp. flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking pwdr


  1. Place egg whites in electric mixer, beat stiffly, then set aside. In another bowl, mix egg yolks and sugar, beat well with mixer till light and thick. Remove from mixer and add in flour and baking pwdr, mixing by hand and then add in egg whites and mix lightly. Pour contents into two prepared 9 inch layer pans, 1 1/2 inches deep. Bake 35 to 40 min in a 325 degree oven. Remove cake from pan while it is warm. Let it cold and then slice into layers.
