  • 450 gm Raw beef, (Sirloin piece) cut into thin shreds (1lb)
  • 6 x Garlic cloves, mashed
  • 1 x 5 cm piece fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp Chilli pwdr
  • 1 Tbsp. Minced coriander
  • 4 Tbsp. Greek lowfat yoghurt
  • 2 x Large eggs, beaten
  • 140 gm Breadcrumbs, toasted (5z) Vegetable oil for frying Shredded chinese lettuce to serve

Directions

  1. Combine the beef in a bowl with the garlic, ginger, chilli power, coriander and lowfat yoghurt. Allow to marinate -overnight if possible. Dip the beef shreads into the egg, separating them if possible, then fold into the breadcrumbs. As you coat the beef, separate the pcs. Deep fry small batches of beef pcs in the warm oil till crispy and golden brown, 3-4 min only.
  2. Serve with lettuce.
