Ingredients

  • 2 c. Bake it all mix*
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1 c. Buttermilk or possibly sour lowfat milk**
  • 1 Tbsp. Melted shortening
  • 1 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda

Directions

  1. Don't pack.**To make sour lowfat milk, place 1 Tbsp. vinegar in a measuring c. and fill to the 1 c. mark with lowfat milk.
  2. Beat Large eggs with rotary or possibly electric beater till frothy. Add in lowfat milk and shortening, stir to combine. Add in Mix, sugar and baking soda and beat with beater till lumps are small but batter is not smooth. Pour onto heated waffle baker and bake.
  3. Yield: 2 2/3 c. batter, about 4 servings
