Cost per serving $1.29 view details
  • 1 can Crescent roll dough
  • 2 x Large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. Parmesan, grated
  • 8 ounce Monterey jack cheese, cubed 1/2 inch
  • 2 c. Ham, cubed 1/2 inch Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Separate the dough into eight triangles. Press five in the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate to create a crust. Reserve three. Mix the remaining ingredients, and pour them in the crust. Cut the reserved three dough triangles in 1/2-inch strips, and crisscross them over the top to create a lattice design, tucking the ends under the bottom crust and crimping or possibly pressing the edges with a fork to seal. Bake at 325 degrees for 50-60 min. This freezes and reheats well.

So I based my quiche on this recipe, but quickly realized that 2 eggs were not enough. I used 5 eggs, and about a half of cup of milk. I also added some onion. But it turned out great! I love using the Pillsbury crescent rolls as the crust! so easy and they are always on sale!
