Ingredients

  • 1 pound grnd beef
  • 1/2 c. minced onion or possibly 2 T instant chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. minced green pepper
  • 2 teaspoon chili pwdr
  • 1/8 teaspoon instant chopped garlic or possibly 1/2 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 c. minced tomato
  • 8 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 7 ounce can Green Giant Niblets Golden brown Whole Kernel Corn, liquid removed
  • 4 ounce can Green Giant Mushroom Stems & Pcs, liquid removed or possibly 1/4 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 6 ounce (1 1/2 c.) shredded Kraft natural Monterey Jack or possibly cheddar cheese
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans Pillsbury Refrigerated Quick Crescent Dinner Rolls

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. In large frying pan, brown grnd beef, onion, green pepper, chili pwdr and garlic; drain. Add in tomato, tomato sauce, corn and mushrooms. Cook over low heat till mix is hot and bubbly. Add in 1 cup of the cheese (reserve remaining 1/2 cup for topping).Meanwhile separate 1 can of dough into 8 triangles. Place triangles in ungreased 10" pie pan or possibly 12"x8" baking dish; press over bottom and up sides to create crust. Spoon hot meat mix over crust. Remove dough from second can; don't unroll. Cut each section into 8 slices. Arrange slices over meat mix.
  2. Cover edge of crust with foil during first 15 min of baking to prevent over browning. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 30 min or possibly till crust is golden. Remove from oven; sprinkle remaining cheese over top. Bake for 3 min or possibly till cheese is melted. Cool 5 min before serving. If you like, garnish with green pepper rings or possibly parsley. Cut into wedges or possibly squares to serve. 6 to 8 servings.
  3. TIP: To reheat, cover loosely with foil; heat at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 min.
