Directions

  1. Hot the sugar and vinegar till sugardissolves. Stir gently. Shred cabbage and carrots. Allow the sugar and vinegar mix to cold and pour it over the cabbage and carrots. Chop the peppers into small pcs. They're for flavor, but they're also for color. The same is true for the carrots. Mix the minced peppers, the salt, and celery seeds into the cabbage mix. Pour the whole thing into a bowl, cover, and allow to settle.
  2. I put mine in the refrigerator overnight to allow the flavors to blend. The longer you allow it to just sit, the more the flavors mix.
