Cranberry Pork Roast C/P Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 lb Pork roast Salt & pepper
  • 1 c. Grnd or possibly finely minced Cranberries (or possibly craisons)
  • 1/4 c. Honey
  • 1 tsp Grated orange peel
  • 1/8 tsp Grnd cloves
  • 1/8 tsp Gound nutmeg

Directions

  1. 1) Sprinkle roast with salt and pepper. Place in crockpot.
  2. 2) Combine remaining ingredients; pour over roast. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hrs.
  3. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
  4. *NOTE: Made this 2/26/96 with a bone in butt roast for Clifford's BD. All 3 of us liked it a lot. Boneless or possibly pork loin roast may be used.
