Cranberry Apple Cobbler Recipe

Ingredients

  • 5 c. Sliced peeled apples
  • 1 c. Cranberry's (I used fresh)
  • 1 1/4 c. Sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. Minute Tapioca
  • 1/2 tsp Grnd cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. Water
  • 2 1/4 c. Bisquick Reduced Fat Baking Mix
  • 3 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 2/3 c. Skim lowfat milk
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter Buds
  • 1 1/2 c. All purpose flour
  • 3/4 c. Sugar
  • 2 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/3 c. Butter Buds
  • 1/3 c. Skim lowfat milk
  • 1 x Egg Beater (1/4 C)
  • 1/4 c. Water

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375. Mix apples, cranberry's, tapioca, cinnamon and water in a large sauce pan. Let stand 5 minutes. Stirring constantly, cook on med.
  2. heat till mix comes to a full boil. Pour into a 2 qt baking dish.
  3. Mix all of the ingredients in part 2. Drop by spoonfulls on apple cranberry mix. Bake 30 - 45 minutes.
  4. *If you don't have or possibly cannot get the Bisquick Reduced fat baking mix, here is another version you can use, which I took out of the "Butter Buster
  5. Combine dry ingredients. Stir in liquid Butter Buds with fork till moistened and it resembles coarse crumbs. Add in skim lowfat milk,water, adn Egg Beater mixing till dry ingredients are moistened. Drop by c. fulls over warm filling.
