Ingredients

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Brown meat: drain. Add in onions, salt and pepper. Add in warm peppers, if you like. Set aside. Grease 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare cornbread (per directions); add in bacon drippings. Pour half of mix into dish, spread meat mix over bottom half of crust mix.
  3. Top with remaining crust mix, top with cheese. Bake at 425 degrees for 40-45 min. Spread top with margarine when removed from oven. Let sit for 10 min.
