This is a very old recipe from my grandmother (1930 or before).

  1. This old recipe has no directions at all.
  2. It is assumed that you know how to mix things in a bowl.
  3. You would also know where to put a tray in the old oven (heated by wood) to get the proper temperature. Hint: I use 350 degrees F, if no temp is given, and work up or down from there.
  4. You also are expected to know when something is done. Hint: Before it is burned to a crisp!
