Copycat KFC slaw.

I tried everyone that I could find on the web nothing was it. I played with all the ingredients and this is what I came up with. Its not exactly the same. But very adjustable for personal taste. Enjoy it with anything.

Goes Well With: almost anything

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk powder (using regular buttermilk adjust other liquid ingredients by slightly less)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp kosher salt (1/2 tsp sea or table salt)
  • 1/4 tsp ground white pepper
  • 1 1/4 tsps medium onion powder
  • 1 white or apple cider vinegar
  • 2 lemon juice
  • Bag of cabbage coleslaw mix or
  • ( 6 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 1 medium carrot shredded)

Directions

  1. Shake in jar all ingredients except cabbage and carrots until well mixed.
  2. Pour over cabbage mix stir.
  3. Cover and refrigerate at least 6 hours The longer the better.
  4. Stir and serve.
  5. Change anything salt, pepper add some spice. use less dressing for a dryer or more creamy salad.

  8. Dill weed
  9. Cajun
  10. Black pepper
