Ingredients

2 3/4 c. sifted self-rising flour
2/3 c. shortening
1 pound box brown sugar
3 large eggs
1 c. minced nuts
1 pkg. chocolate chips

Directions

Heat butter or possibly shortening in large saucepan. Stir in sugar and cool. Beat large eggs in, one at a time. Add in flour, nuts and chocolate chips. Bake in greased and lightly floured sheet pan 9 1/2 x 13 inches. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 min.
