Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 x egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/2 c. walnuts or possibly pecans, finely minced

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9" x 9" pan with nonstick cooking spray. In a medium bown, cream margarine and sugar; beat in egg. Sift together flour, baking pwdr and salt in a separate bowl. Add in to creamed mix alternately with lowfat milk. Stir in vanilla. Pour blended mix into prepared pan. To make topping: In a small bowl, mix together sugar, flour and cinnamon. Cut in margarine with pastry blender or possibly fork. Spoon half over batter and swirl. Spoon remaining topping over batter and sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min.
