Directions

  1. Melt chocolate chips in large bowl in microwave for 5 minutes.
  2. In very large bowl, combine sugar and oil, then add melted chocolate chips. Add eggs one at a time to the mixture. Beat well. Add vanilla extract.
  3. Combine flour, baking powder and salt in separate bowl and add to the chocolate mixture. Stir in nuts. Chill.
  4. Scoop dough out with ice cream scoop and roll in confectioners' sugar to coat. Bake at 300 degrees F for 15 to 17 minutes. Dough may be refrigerated in Tupperware until ready to use.

    last time I made these I was either working at a hospice or a longterm care facility that required 300+ cookies baked every shift. But since reducing this recipe to 1/4 I actually got about 55 cookies give or take testing out the batter between each slide into the oven. Better is consistency of brownie mix and tastes even better. If you want darker cookies, use a darker chip, I used milk choc chips for the pic
