Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 stalk celery, finely minced
  • 1 x Carrot, finely minced
  • 1 sm Onion, finely minced
  • 3 x Garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 x ( 28 ounce.) can diced plum tomatoes, including juice
  • 2 c. Chicken broth
  • 1 x 240 ml. bottle clam juice
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Tabasco sauce
  • 2 x Potatoes, diced
  • 1 x (104 gr) can shrimp, rinsed and liquid removed
  • 1 x (120 gr) can crabmeat, liquid removed
  • 1/3 c. Finely minced parsley Squeeze lemon juice

Directions

  1. In a large saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add in celery, carrot, onion and garlic; cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 min. Add in tomatoes and their juice, chicken broth, clam juice, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning and Tabasco. Bring to a boil and add in potatoes. Cover, reduce heat and simmer till potatoes are tender, about 10 to 15 min. Stir in seafood, parsley and lemon juice and serve.
