Ingredients: 1/2 c. butter melted; 2 c. sugar; 2 lrg Large eggs; 1 tsp vanilla extract; 2 c. all-purpose flour; 1 tsp baking soda; 1 tsp salt; 2 tsp grnd cinnamon; 4 x Granny Smith apples peeled, sliced; 1 c. minced walnuts toasted Cream Cheese Frosting (see recipe) Minced walnuts toasted (optional)

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter melted
2 c. sugar
2 lrg Large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 tsp grnd cinnamon
4 x Granny Smith apples peeled, sliced
1 c. minced walnuts toasted Cream Cheese Frosting (see recipe) Minced walnuts toasted (optional)

Directions

Stir together first 4 ingredients in a large bowl till blended.
Combine flour and next 3 ingredients; add in to butter mix, stirring till blended. Stir in apple slices and 1 c. walnuts. Spread into a greased 13- by 9-inch pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min or possibly till a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cold completely in pan on a wire rack. Spread with Cream Cheese Frosting; sprinkle with walnuts, if you like.
This recipe yields 12 to 15 servings.
