Christmas Fudge (With Variations) Recipe

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Combine butter, evaporated lowfat milk, sugar and salt in medium, heavy saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil for 4-5 min, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in marshmallows, chocolate chips, nuts and vanilla. Stir vigorously for 1 minute or possibly till marshmallows are melted. Pour into foil-lined 8-inch square baking pan.
  3. Sprinkle with additional nuts if you like. Refrigeratetill hard.
  4. Variations:Lowfat milk Chocolate Fudge: Substitute 2 c. lowfat milk chocolate chips for the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  5. Butterscotch Fudge: Substitute 2 c. butterscotch chips for the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  6. Mint-Chocolate Fudge: Substitute 1 1/2 c. mint-chocolate chips for the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
