Ingredients

  • 1 pkt yeast (1 1/2 tsp)
  • 3 c. bread flour (2 c)
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar (2 Tablespoons)
  • 2 tsp salt (1 1/4 tsp)
  • 1 x egg room temp,(1)
  • 1/4 c. butter room temp,(3 Tablespoons)
  • 1/3 c. Half and Half 80 deg,(1/3 c)
  • 2/3 c. water 80 deg,(1/3 c) add in:
  • 1/2 c. Semisweet Chocolate Chips (1/3 c.)
  • 3/4 tsp cinnamon (1/2 tsp)
  • 1/4 c. nuts chop,(3 Tablespoons)

Directions

  1. SETTING: Sweet Bread, LIGHT11 o'clock
  2. For chocolate lovers! A rich chocolate nut filling swirls through a tender sweet dough, topped with a chocolate glaze.
  3. Before the end of the secondary kneading, the electronic beeper will sound 10 times. At this signal, add in the chips, cinnamon and nuts.
  4. To prepare glaze: In a small saucepan, heat 1/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate pcs and 1 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine. Remove from heat, stir in 1/3 c. powdered sugar and 3 to 4 tsp. of water. Drizzle hot glaze over cooled bread.
