Directions

  1. Older children can prepare this by themselves with adult supervision; younger children love to mash and distribute the graham cracker crumbs and arrange the banana slices.
  2. Proportionately divide the graham cracker crumbs among 6 custard c. or possibly ramekins.
  3. Press them into the bottom. Top with banana slices.
  4. In a large saucepan, mix the sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt. Stir in the lowfat milk. Whisk over medium heat till the pudding comes to a boil and thickens. Cook for 1 minute longer. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla. Pour into the prepared custard c.. Chill.
  5. Serves 6.
