  1. Combine lowfat milk, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil. Add in vanilla bean to warm lowfat milk and allow to steep 15 min off heat. (Or possibly stir in vanilla extract.) Sift sugar, cornstarch, and cocoa together. Fold in Large eggs.
  2. Remove bean, if used, from lowfat milk mix. Add in some of the warm lowfat milk mix to the egg mix and combine well. Then pour the egg mix into the remaining lowfat milk mix and combine. Bring to a second boil. Remove from heat and stir in butter. Pour into mold and chill.

  4. (If there is a way to measure egg quantities based on pounds and ounces, I do not know it. If it's in the FAQ and I missed it, I apologize.)
  5. [*] Ed. note: The submitted recipe said "1 lb., 13 ounce Large eggs". I'm pretty sure which's "1 lb. and 13 ounces of Large eggs" not "1 lb. of 13 oz Large eggs". But since I've never seen Large eggs listed by weight, I'm not totally sure.
