Ingredients
- 1 x pie crust (9 inch) baked
- 1/2 c. butter softened
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 x egg
- 3/4 c. chocolate chips
- 1 c. peanuts minced
- 4 ounce cream cheese softened
- 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 1 x egg
- 1 1/2 c. whipped cream whipped
- 1/2 c. peanuts minced
Directions
- Chocolate Filling: Cream butter and sugar. Add in egg; beat 2 - 3 min. Blend in chocolate. Spread 1 c. mix over crust. Reserve rest of mix. Sprinkle with 1 c. of nuts.
- Peanut Filling: Combine cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and egg. Mix in whipped cream. Spoon over filling.
- Spread reserved chocolate mix to within 2 inches of edges. Sprinkle with 1/2 c. nuts.
- NOTES : Tom had this dessert at the Fox and Hounds restaurant and raved about it. I later found the recipe much to his pleasure. It is a rich dessert but very special and delicious. Once again, favorite flavor combinations of peanut butter and chocolate.
