Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • 9 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • For the Chocolate Ganache:
  • 3 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 2 bananas, sliced about ½-inch thick
  • For the Whipped Cream:
  • 1½ cups heavy cream (or heavy whipping cream)
  • 4½ teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
