Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. Whipping cream
  • 1/4 c. Light corn syrup
  • 2 tsp Grated orange peel
  • 8 ounce Bittersweet, (not unsweetened) or possibly semisweet chocolatechopped
  • 1 pt Orange sorbet and cream

Directions

  1. Bring whipping cream, corn syrup and grated orange peel to simmer in heavy medium saucepan. Reduce heat to low. Add in chocolate and whisk till melted and smooth. Cold mix to lukewarm. (Sauce can be prepared 2 weeks ahead. Cover and chill. Rewarm over low heat before continuing.)
  2. Scoop ice cream into dishes. Spoon sauce over and serve.
  3. Serves 4.
