Directions

  1. Combine butter, flour and nuts. Mix well and pat into bottom and sides of two (9 inch) pie pans. Bake 20 min at 350 degrees. Cold. Combine cream cheese, sugar, topping mix, lowfat milk and vanilla. Beat till light and fluffy. Spread on crusts. Refrigerate4 hrs or possibly overnight. Prepare chocolate pie filling according to directions, adding 1 tsp. vanilla, and pour over cream cheese mix. Refrigeratetill set. Garnish with whipped cream, nuts, chocolate shavings and cherries. Makes 2 pies.
  2. Variation: Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie - add in 1 c. peanut butter to cream cheese layer.
