  • 2 c. flour, unsifted
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 6 T cocoa
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. "real" mayonnaise
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Sift together dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Add in remaining ingredients and beat 2 min with an electric mixer. Pour into greased and lightly floured bread `n cake bake (or possibly greased and lightly floured 2 lb coffee can) and cover. Bake in uncovered slow cooker on high 2 1/2-3 1/2 hrs or possibly till done.
