Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp. Butter
  • 3/4 c. Conf. sugar, sifted
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 3 ounce Unsweetnd choc., melted
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 x Egg whites
  • 3/4 c. Conf. sugar, sifted

Directions

  1. Cream butter; add in 3/4 c. sugar and blend. Add in vanilla chocolate and salt and mix well. Beat egg whites till stiff, but not dry. Add in 3/4 c. sugar, 2 Tbsp. at a time, beating after each addition till blended.
  2. Continue beating till mix stands in peaks. Add in to chocolate mix, folding only sufficient to blend.
  3. Makes sufficient frosting to cover top of one 9-inch layer and sides of two 9-inch layers.
