Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Balls Recipe

  1. Heat butter in a heavy 2 quart. saucepan over low heat. Add in peanut butter, stir till well blended. Remove from heat. Combine sugar and Rice Krispies in a large bowl. Pour warm peanut butter mix over all. Mix thoroughly using hands ( be very careful, mix will be warm). Shape into 1 inch balls. Place on wax paper lined cookie sheets. Cover and chill 1 hour.
  2. Combine chocolate chips, Hershey Bar, and parafin in top of double boiler.
  3. Place over warm water till melted. Dip chilled peanut butter balls in chocolate mix to coat. Place on wax paper lined sheets to set chocolate.When dry, store in refrigerator.
  4. NOTES : These are a big hit at Holiday time.
