Ingredients: 1/2 c. butter; 1/2 c. brown sugar; 1/2 c. dark corn syrup; 1 teaspoon vanilla; 1 1/2 c. sifted flour; 1 teaspoon baking pwdr; 1 teaspoon salt; 2 large eggs; 2 (1 ounce) sq. unsweetened chocolate (melted); 2 c. minced walnuts; 2 (1 ounce) sq. unsweetened chocolate; 6 T butter

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 teaspoon baking pwdr
1 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
2 (1 ounce) sq. unsweetened chocolate (melted)
2 c. minced walnuts
2 (1 ounce) sq. unsweetened chocolate
6 T butter

Directions

Cream butter, sugar and syrup till fluffy. Beat in large eggs. Stir in melted chocolate and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together and stir into creamed mix, then stir in nuts. Drop by tsp onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 8-10 min.
Stir over low heat till melted. Remove from heat and add in: 2 teaspoon vanilla Hot water to make spreading consistency
