  8. Preheat oven to 350.
  9. Don't SUBSTITUTE INGREDIENTS (says the author)
  10. Cream together with electric mixer till fluffy the sugars, shortening, Large eggs, vanilla and lowfat milk.
  11. Sift together the flour, baking pwdr, baking soda and salt and gradually add in to creamed mix. Mix well with a spoon. Don't use electric mixer.
  12. Stir in chocolate chips, oatmeal and pecans.
  13. Drop by teaspoonfuls on lightly greased cooking sheet. Bake for 12-15 min. Don't OVERBAKE. (The key to these cookies turning out well is mixing the wet ingredients thoroughly till light and fluffy and in not overbaking)
