Servings: 10
Ingredients
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. minced nuts
- Saltines (sufficient to cover baking sheet)
Directions
- Line non-greased baking sheet with saltines. Combine brown sugar and butter in small saucepan. Boil for about 5 min (to soft ball stage). Pour mix over crackers, spreading proportionately with spoon. Bake at 350 degrees for 5 min. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chips and nuts. When chips begin to heat you can chill for 5 min or possibly so to speed setting time. When set, break apart with fingers and serve like peanut brittle.
