  • 1 pkg. Pillsbury Plus Devils Food cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/3 c. Crisco oil
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 c. dairy lowfat sour cream
  • 3 c. coconut
  • 3 c. dairy whipped topping

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour cake pans 2 (8 inch) round. In large bowl blend all ingredients till moistened, beat 2 min at high speed. Pour into pans. Bake 30-40 min (toothpick test). Cool on rack 15 min. Remove from pans and cool completely. Split in half forming 4 layers. Fill with icing.
  2. Fold and frost garnish with coconut, pecans and stemmed maraschino cherries.
