Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. Cornflakes for frying
  • 1 Tbsp. Peanuts
  • 2 tsp Raisins, cashews
  • 1 stalk curry leaves
  • 2 x Green chillies minced to 1/2" pcs
  • 1 tsp Red chilli pwdr
  • 3 pch citric acid powdered, (3 to 4)
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar Salt to taste Oil for deep frying

Directions

  1. Deep fry the cornflakes in warm oil until crisp but not brown.
  2. Drain and place in wide plate.
  3. Repeat for all flakes.
  4. Next fry the peanuts, curry leaves, cashew, raisins, green chillies one at a time.
  5. Drain all well. Add in to the fried flakes.
  6. Sprinkle all the other ingredients over the flakes.
  7. Mix well until masala is proportionately coated, with hands.
  8. Store in airtight container.
  9. Making time: 20 min
  10. Makes: 3 c.
  11. Shelflife: 2 weeks
