Ingredients

  • 1 lb Skinless turkey breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp Grnd ginger
  • 1 tsp Chinese five-spice pwdr
  • 3 x Green onions, thinly sliced
  • 4 Tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 1 x 12-oz Robertson Damson preserves or possibly plum jelly
  • 2 tsp Granules of chicken bouillon
  • 1 Tbsp. Instant chopped onion
  • 1/3 c. Red wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Grnd ginger
  • 1 tsp Chinese five-spice pwdr

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients EXCEPT Plum Sauce in plastic bag, close secfurly.
  2. Prop bag in refrigerator so which all turkey is submerged. Allow to marinate at least 4 hrs in refrigerator. Thread turkey on skewers or possibly put into kabob baskets and grill over warm coals 3 min on each of 4 sides or possibly till done, brushing with remaining marinade. Serve with Plum Sauce. This recipe will easily accomidate 2 pounds of turkey without a change in other ingredients.
  3. Plum Sauce: Heat preserves in small saucepan; add in remaining ingredients.
  4. Brint to boil; reduce heat to simmer and cook 15 to 20 min or possibly till slightly thickened.
