Ingredients

  • 6 x Chimayo chilies, seeded and stemmed
  • 1/2 med Yellow onion, sliced
  • 2 x Cloves garlic
  • 2 c. Water
  • 1 x Bay leaf Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients except salt in a sauce pan and bring to a boil.
  2. Simmer for 10 min. Remove from heat and blend till very smooth adding water if necessary. Salt to taste. Strain through fine mesh strainer.
  3. Yield: 6 servings
