Chili Sauce For Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 c. lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon chili pwdr
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed

Directions

  1. Cook ingredients over heat till thick and creamy. Marinate - 2 pounds of shrimp in a little lemon juice, pepper, salt and chilies, for an hour.
  2. Remove from marinade and fry quickly over moderate heat. Place shrimp (whole warm) in a tray and cover with sauce. Bake in oven (moderate heat) for 10-15 min. Serve warm. Alternately use chili sauce as a dip for the shrimp.
