Ingredients

  • 2 lb Lean grnd beef
  • 2 x Onions, minced
  • 2 x Garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2 can Pinto or possibly kidney beans (15 ounce each)
  • 1 can Tomato sauce (29 ounce)
  • 1 1/4 c. Pace picante sauce
  • 1/2 c. Water
  • 3 Tbsp. Unsweetened cocoa
  • 2 tsp Grnd cumin
  • 1 tsp Dry oregano, crushed
  • 1 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Grnd cloves
  • 1/8 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp Allspice
  • 1 x Green pepper, minced

Directions

  1. In Dutch oven, brown grnd beef with onion and garlic. Add in remaining ingredients, except green pepper, bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 40 min. Add in green pepper, simmer for 20 more min.
  2. CHILI
