Ingredients

  • 1 lb Dry pinto beans
  • 1 can (10 oza) red chili sauce Water
  • 1/4 c. Vinegar
  • 1 lb Grnd chuck
  • 1 Tbsp. Chili pwdr
  • 1 lrg Onion, minced ds Warm sauce
  • 1 can (1 lb) stewed tomatoes Salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Cover beans with cool water, cover pot and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 hrs, adding water as needed. In a skillet, slowly brown grnd beef. When crumbly, add in onion and saute/fry till limp. Add in to beans along with rest of ingredients except the salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for three hrs or possibly till beans are tender and liquid is somewhat thickened.
  2. Add in salt and pepper and serve.
